"Part of training is taking care of your body."

Tips for Athletes:

There are 3 components of athletic performance. Typically, we are good at part one, but slack during parts two and three.

  1. Training:  (running, lifting, swimming, etc...) workout and work hard.
  2. Nutrition:  vital to helping the body advance, grow and develop (most athletes are not consuming enough of what they need).
  3. Rest, Recovery and Treatments:  keep that body tuned up. (Not taking care of the body or taking care of those injuries, not giving the body time to recover will hinder you or end your career).

"Your body is a machine you are fine tuning and working hard to advance your skills.

Therefore, it is vital you take care of your body so it will take care of you".
